Open Bay Island gecko
A medium sized gecko up to 77 mm SVL, and 146 mm total length (Hitchmough unpub. data, Lettink 2008). Dorsal surface light golden brown or olive-grey with longitudinal or transverse stripes, or chevron markings. Markings often drab or poorly defined. Ventral surface uniform. Mouth lining and tongue bright orange. Eye olive-grey. Tail equal or shorter than SVL (R. Hitchmough unpub. data, R. Hitchmough pers. comm. in Jewell 2008).
